Summary: If you make a robot, don't give it a brain. If you do, then don't give it a weapon. Or weapons, if you're that kind of guy. It doesn't matter how good your program is. One way or another, they will abuse that power, and turn it into something that cannot be stopped so easily.

History: The Harbinger Corporation (yeah, real approachable title there) has two flavors of killer robot; near-human cyborg and the SAR Units, the latter being a horde of more animalistic-looking droids that are built to adapt to their enemy's tactics. In this case, a bunch of people have been dumped on an island with a cyborg as their guide and a means of controlling the SARs while the humans engage in a military exercise. But alas, the SARs don't remain in control for long. For they have been programmed to learn from their opponents, and to them, nothing makes for a better soldier than one constantly being hunted.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The SARs are destroyed one by one, but it takes both an EMP blast and a sniper bullet to take out their leader, SAR-003. But before that, it had imputed its protocols into the cyborg, who is left on the island. What happens next, none can say.

Powers/Abilities: SARs can interface with any other form of tech, and they are designed to learn from whatever the enemy does, copy it, and improve upon it. Some can even tank EMPs.

Weakness: Heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 4-Aside from looking like a scrapped Skynet design, the SAR unit is what we fear about our own military times a thousand. An exceedingly violent army of knight templars who see no value in emotion, and will do anything to turn regular soldiers into perfect killing machines. Kind of sounds like how our government handles our soldiers, doesn't it? Only some outdated codger of a politician would see the troops as disposable drones...which really begs the question as to why they didn't just use these unflappable robots as soldiers instead.

Trivia: -The SAR voices were provided by Sam Huntington. Looking at his filmography, it's probably the first time anyone's ever taken anything about him seriously.

-This is, as of now, the only film directed by Steven Gomez, who's mostly a guy in the visual effects department for documentaries.
